Chaneve is A.OK
Feelings > Who's A.OK? > Chaneve
Introduction

Dr. Chaneve Jeanniton begins each morning with a leisurely walk to her local coffee shop. This daily ritual—breathing in the fresh air, exchanging warm greetings with neighbors, and returning home with an almond milk latte in hand—sets a peaceful tone for the day ahead. Based in Brooklyn, she is the founder of epi.logic, a skincare line that thoughtfully combines botanical extracts with results-driven ingredients for a glowy skincare routine.
For Chaneve, the habits we cultivate are investments in our natural beauty, and prioritizing self-care represents living in harmony with our truest selves.
Backstory
I met Chaneve during what I'd call my "wellness exploration phase" – when I landed in her office for a consultation, immediately struck by her magnetic personality and impeccable style (seriously, who looks that put-together in medical wear?).
Something about her wit and the way she'd casually drop brilliant observations between treatment instructions made me realize this couldn't just be a clinical relationship. I invited her to join my women's creative circle – a space where we gathered to share ideas and inspire each other. Chaneve brought her signature blend of intelligence and humor that perfectly complemented our group's energy.
Cut to now, and she's transitioned from "my cool doctor" to "my friend who happens to be a doctor," our friendship evolving into this beautiful mix of deep conversations, shared creative endeavors, and her constant (loving) medical vigilance over my skincare habits.
With love, Alessandra
Q+A

Hi! I’m Chaneve Jeanniton. I live in Brooklyn and I’m the founder of epi.logic skincare and Brooklyn Face & Eye. After a busy start to the year I’m headed to Nayarit, Mexico. I'll be there celebrating my best friend's birthday and giving my mind (and melanin!) a much-needed reset under the Mexican sun.
Movement is my medicine. I try to get in some physical activity on the daily. These days I’m swimming, power lifting or doing Pilates.
It's when I feel the most grateful and grounded.

Chaneve quiet at home
When life gets a bit tumultuous I try to quiet my anxiety by focusing on myself. Usually this means eating better, living more intentionally, and disconnecting to reconnect.
Doctor Jeanniton Recommends
I’m learning to take better care of my body. I’ve always centered my self-care and beauty practices on my face but I’m learning that my body craves the same attention. I love slathering on the A.OK body oil and how it makes me slow down and get soft.

Inspiration from Chaneve's life to inspire ours
I recently saw Simone Leigh’s exhibit at Matthew Marks Gallery in NYC and was so moved.
Vetiver is my new obsession. I mix a few drops of vetiver oil into baking soda and sprinkle it onto my rugs before vacuuming. It creates the most intoxicating ambiance at home.
90s dancehall.
I love spicy ginger candies too much!
