I created A.OK Botanical Body Oil as a daily ritual that nourishes both body and mind. This luxurious blend leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth, while its aroma instantly relaxes me, transforming a simple act of self-care into a moment of pure serenity.

The Steps

  1. Start with a warm bath or hot shower - the heat will open your pores and make it easier to cleanse your skin.
  2. Gently exfoliate skin with a body scrub or loofah, removing dead cells and encouraging better oil absorption.
  3. Towel dry, leaving skin slightly damp allowing the pores to absorb oil better.
  4. Apply A.OK Botanical Body Oil to palms. Pause & inhale deeply for an aromatic boost that wakes up the senses.
  5. Rub palms together to warm the oil slightly, then apply it to skin using gentle, upward motions. (I like to focus on one area at a time, starting with arms or legs, working my way around my body & giving a little extra love to areas that tend to be drier.) The oil will lock in the moisture.
  6. Amplify your experience by using The Bird, A.OK's Sandalwood Body Gua Sha Tool.
  7. If there’s any excess oil, gently pat your skin with a towel.
  8. The result: soft, hydrated & deeply nourished skin that smells amazing. Plus, a mind & body that feel relaxed & grounded.

I bought this from the Locavore Variety Store in NYC. First of all, this smells incredible - I love green, herbaceous scents, so this is right up my alley. Second, I have oily skin, but this absorbs right away, leaving my skin soft and moisturized but not greasy. Love!

Morning ritual
